design is amazing! hi from the macroquad discord!
This looks absolutely gorgeous and intriguing - the card art is fantastic! It's too tall a task for me to understand what's going on, but if there's ever a version with an easier ramp up I'd love to revisit this lovely art and atmosphere - for example, if I could play some rounds with just a couple rules and a subset of cards that trigger those rules, to even understand what type of thing I'm looking for.
Well, this is...cryptic.
I think the main thing I want (other than "any idea what's going on") is a "click to continue" after scoring, so that I can look at the three cards, look at how they scored, and try to learn something, anything, about the system. As it is, I'm going, "Oh, cool, +12 for circle-circle-diamond, by playing a--god, was it two green cards? I think a 3?"
Absolutely! We barely made the game functional for the submission deadline and will soon add improvements around inspecting the played hand in a paused state after it scores.
Thanks for trying it!
You can now inspect the rules as long as you want and see what cards scored for them (if any) by hovering over a rule on the left. The next round can be started manually.
